My role: UX designer designing an app for Therapist Scheduling app from conception to delivery. UX Researcher and Graphic Designer

The goal: Have a searchable data base and be able to make contact.

Responsibilities: Conducting interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, and iterating on designs

User Research Summary

I did research on rescuing puppies and how foster and doctor care will assure the puppies will remain safe and in good condition. Ready for a family to adopt them from an organization like this. A database with photos and information helps a lot for a successful union.

Starting the Design

Paper wireframes

● Digital wireframes

● Low-fidelity prototype

● Usability

Paper Wire Frame

The aim was stay open and playful because the experience should be very positive.

Digital Wire Frame

As the initial design phase continued, I made sure to base screen designs on feedback and findings from the user research. This button at the top of the home screen show how to find more information. This button provides an easy way to get matched to a puppy. Tell a story about what is going on with Puppy adoption.

Lo Fidelity Prototype

Using the completed set of digital wireframes, I created a lowfidelity prototype. The primary user flow I connected was taking the user to the screen to answer questions to match with a puppy.

Usability Study: Findings

I conducted two rounds of usability studies. Findings from the first study helped guide the designs from wireframes to mockups. The second study used a high-fidelity prototype and revealed what aspects of the mockups needed refining.

Refining the Design

Mockups

● High-fidelity prototype

● Accessibility

Mockups

Added a heart bookmark. The Heart and Select buttons means something different. Select means set up a meeting and start the process.

More detailed filter would be more helpful. And possible with a database website
